Yatate with Paper Knife (Kami-Kiri)

SOLD

Originally many yatate came with companion utility knives (ostensibly for cutting paper). These small utility knives were called kami-kiri. Finding yatate with the kami-kiri still intact is somewhat rare as most have been lost over the years.

This yatate has an attached skull charm carved from animal bone. It is assumed that this carving is of a more recent date. While this yatate has been sold, we often have other antique yatate for sale on our TOKOHAN sales page.
